I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy for youth, adults, families, and groups since 2017, with independent practice since 2023. With more than 20 years of experience across human services, behavioral health, crisis intervention, community-based support services, and work with forensic and veteran populations, I offer a safe, supportive, and thoughtfully challenging space for deep healing, self-exploration, and authentic transformation. What's with the name? Dr. Wayne Dyer's story about mishearing his teacher call him a “scurvy elephant” instead of a “disturbing element” inspired the name for the practice. By embracing differences and recognizing the potential for growth, rather than excluding those perceived as different, healing becomes a space of possibility—one where people can move beyond limiting labels, build on their strengths, and create healthy, sustainable change.
